Living a Longer, More Purposeful Life: Treatment and Caring for Loved Ones with Alzheimer’s and Dementia

Join Dr. Marc Agronin, the Senior VP for Behavioral Health and Chief Medical Officer for the MIND Institute at Miami Jewish Health and a national expert on Alzheimer’s disease and other geriatric health issues for a very informative program.  Dr. Agronin presents a hopeful and practical model of aging – a guide to understanding how we can all make the journey better.

As one of America’s leading board-certified adult and geriatric psychiatrists, Dr. Agronin cares for seniors with a focus on how to improve the quality of their lives. He is the acclaimed author of How We Age: A Doctor’s Journey into the Heart of Growing Old (2011) and its sequel The End of Old Age: Living a Longer, More Purposeful Life (2018). Through his writing, Dr. Agronin presents a hopeful and practical model of aging – a guide to understanding how we can all make the journey better.  Dr. Agronin is a national expert in Alzheimer’s disease and other geriatric mental health issues and leads both a Memory Disorder Clinic and one of Florida’s largest Alzheimer’s clinical research programs. He is the author of nine additional books and hundreds of articles. Dr. Agronin has written essays for the New York Times and Scientific American Mind, and writes regular blogs on aging and retirement issues for the Wall Street Journal as part of their Experts panel.
