Policies

Parking

The parking lot is reserved for members and program participants only. All cars are required to display the blue parking pass provided by the MBJCC. As an added “perk” for members, and as part of our ongoing effort to enhance the MBJCC experience, valet service (available during peak hours) at the MBJCC is complimentary for members. If you are visiting the MBJCC and the parking lot is full, we urge you to use the valet or the municipal parking garage located on Sheridan Ave /42nd Street, which charges $1.00 per hour.
Guests are welcome to use our valet service ($6/non-members & guests) or the Municipal Parking Garage on Sheridan Ave/42nd Street.

• Entrance to the MBJCC and the parking lot will be through the South gate on Pine Tree Drive. Cars must exit through the North Gate of the parking lot.
• Guests who are non-members will need to show identification at the front gate. Security Personnel may stop those without a MBJCC parking pass and ask for ID.

Building Entry

• Members should use their membership key fob to enter through the security-controlled turnstile. A photo of the member will appear on the computer for security purposes. If you need a new key fob, please contact our Service Desk.
• Parents who are non-members and are attending their children’s classes, will be required to sign in at the Service Desk in the Main Lobby to be issued a visitor pass. Non-Members are not permitted to use the MBJCC facilities without a guest pass or visitor pass issued by the Service Desk.

Guests

• For security purposes, please note that all new visitors to the MBJCC must provide a valid Driver’s License or State Issued Identification Card for entry.
• Guests who are non-members will be required to show ID at the south entrance gate. Security Personnel may stop those without an MBJCC parking pass and ask for ID.
• Guests may enter the facility up to three times per calendar year at a cost of $10 per visit.
• First time guests are required to complete a guest waiver at the Service Desk.
• Visitors observing enrichment or sports classes may not use the facility. All visitors will be required to sign in at the Service Desk and will be issued a visitor’s pass.

General Policies

• The MBJCC is a non-smoking facility. No smoking is permitted on the MBJCC campus.
• The outdoor field, basketball court, and racquetball court are open to members and guests when not in use for programs or special events.
• All children must be accompanied by an adult when using the playground.
• Racquetball courts may be reserved up to 24 hours in advance. Please call the Service Desk for scheduling.
• Outside private trainers are not permitted to train on MBJCC Property
• Animals are not permitted in the MBJCC unless documentation can be provided stating that the animal has been certified, trained, and licensed as a service animal.
• Any items found will be placed in the Lost and Found for 3 months before being donated to a local charity. Contact the Service Desk for assistance. The MBJCC assumes no responsibility for lost/stolen items.
• For any emergencies, please immediately notify an MBJCC staff member or a service desk representative.

Fitness Center

• Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to use the Fitness Center.
• Cell phone usage is not permitted.
• Please clean weight and aerobic equipment after use – disinfectant wipes are available in the fitness center.
• No gym bags may be brought into workout areas. Please store all belongings in lockers.
• Headphones & water bottles are available for purchase at the Service Desk.
• Members and guests are not permitted in the Pilates studio, gymnastics studio, and cycle studio without an MBJCC instructor present.

Minors

• Children must be at least 11 years of age to use the MBJCC WITHOUT being accompanied by an adult.
• Children under 11 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult while at the MBJCC, unless attending a class or program and have been pre-registered.
• Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to use the Fitness Center.
• Young Adults, 14 years and over are eligible for our Teen Membership. Please contact Membership for more information.
• Nannies (or other caregivers) may accompany a child to the MBJCC if the family has a membership and has provided written authorization allowing the nanny to drop off/pick up a child.
• A nanny is not considered a member and is not permitted to use the MBJCC facilities unless a separate membership for the nanny has been acquired.

Towels

• Members are encouraged to bring their own towels for showering, swim classes, and leisure time at the pool.
• The MBJCC has a limited number of towels available to rent for $1 (available at the Service Desk.) (SUSPENDED)
• Fitness towels are offered for your convinced in all fitness areas.(SUSPENDED)
• All MBJCC pool towels and fitness towels should be dropped in the hampers located around the building before leaving.(SUSPENDED)

Locker Rooms

Lockers are available at no charge. You must provide your own lock. Please securely lock all personal belongings in the provided lockers. MBJCC is not responsible for the personal belongings of members and guests.
• Lockers are for day use only. Any locks left overnight will be removed.
• Children 6 years and older are not permitted in the locker room of the opposite sex. A family bathroom is available on the pool deck that may be used by all family members.

Pool

• Children under the age of 12 must have an adult present on the pool deck at all times.
• Please shower before entering pool.
• All children that wear diapers must wear a proper swim diaper in the pool.
• Proper swim attire is required.
• There is no running on the pool deck.
• Rough play in the pool will be cause for immediate removal.
• All food and beverages (snacks included) must be purchased from the MBJCC. No outside food or drinks are permitted in the center and on the pool deck.
• All food must be consumed in the covered area near café and vending machines.
• For your safety, no diving or cannon balls are permitted. The pool is too shallow.
• Failure to follow the pool rules may result in removal from premises.
• No glass is permitted on the pool deck.
• Children ages 12 and under that have not passed a Water Competency Test must have adult supervision at arm’s length in the pool.

Food

• Dietary laws are observed at the MBJCC. If you have questions about our Kashrut Policy, please contact our Service Desk.
• The MBJCC is a nut-aware facility. All of the MBJCC children’s programs that provide snacks, food, or beverages are nut-free programs.

Privacy Policy

• No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
• Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted.
• All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
