About Us

WHAT IS IT ABOUT THE MBJCC?

Sure, we offer the community after-school programs, aquatics, children’s camps, gymnastics, basketball, flag football and other sports classes & leagues, a state-of-the-art fitness center, cultural programs, personalized training, over 60 free group exercise classes, a zero-depth entry heated pool, basketball courts, and an indoor racquetball court…..and it’s all powered by COMMUNITY.

Here are the numbers….

• 5,000 Members (and growing)
• 600 Campers Each Summer
• 250 Sports, Recreational and Enrichment Programs
• 100 Seasonal Arts & Culture and Adult Programs
• $175,000+ scholarship provided to community members in need

Even during these most challenging times, the MBJCC continues to provide a place to call home for so many families and individuals. Following health & safety guidelines, we operated summer camp in both 2020 and 2021, after-school, sports and cultural programming. The MBJCC was a center of community support through food drives, educational services from our “School Days @ the J” program, CoVid-19 anti-body blood drives, and facilitation of vaccines through organized outreach.

Throughout this, we have absorbed a 25% decrease in overall operational dollars. Now more than ever, the additional dollars donated to our MBJCC’s Everyone Belongs Scholarship & Sustainability Fund are needed. We are powered by COMMUNITY.
