Getting Your Child to the J Is Easy
The MBJCC offers transportation from select local schools directly to our facility, making it easy for working families to enroll their children in after-school programs and enrichment classes. Transportation is available on a limited basis and requires its own registration — spaces fill up quickly, so we encourage you to register early. Children enrolled in transportation must be enrolled in an activity or Drop-In Homework Club upon arrival, or be picked up immediately — children cannot be left alone at the MBJCC. Transportation from Schools
Children enrolled in transportation must either be enrolled in an activity, Drop-In Homework Club, or picked up immediately upon arrival at the MBJCC. Children cannot be left alone at the MBJCC.

Drop-In Homework Club
Students can drop into Homework Club for a one-hour block before or after their scheduled classes. The Drop-In Homework Club is available to children enrolled in transportation and provides a supervised space for homework completion and quiet activities.

How Transportation Works

Register Early
Transportation is available on a limited basis — spaces fill up quickly. Register here, or email gro.ccjbm@nelleh to register as soon as possible to secure your child’s spot.
We Pick Up Your Child
Our staff pick up children from participating local schools at the scheduled times and transport them safely to the MBJCC. See the full schedule above for your school’s pickup time.
Supervised Until You Arrive
Upon arrival at the MBJCC, children are supervised by our staff until a parent or guardian picks them up. Children cannot be left unsupervised at the J.
Enroll in an Activity or Homework Club
All children enrolled in transportation must be enrolled in an MBJCC activity or Drop-In Homework Club while they are here, or be picked up immediately upon bus arrival.
Drop-In Homework Club
The Drop-In Homework Club gives children a supervised, structured space to complete their homework before or after scheduled MBJCC classes. Available to all children enrolled in transportation, the Homework Club is staffed by MBJCC team members who help keep kids focused and on track. Sessions run for one hour and can be booked on any day transportation is used. Fees are per-day and vary based on membership status — see the pricing table above for current rates. This is a great option for families who want to ensure their children use their afternoons productively before heading home.
