Our upcoming reading, “The Soap Myth” by Jeff Cohen, will be performed by the renowned local stage actor, Avi Hoffman, alongside a talented cast.

Play Synopsis

Set more than fifty years post-WWII, “The Soap Myth” delves deep into a young Jewish reporter’s quest for truth. He seeks answers to the haunting question – did the Nazis, in their unspeakable cruelty, manufacture soap from the corpses of their Jewish victims? The play paints a vivid picture, juxtaposing survivors, scholars, and Holocaust deniers, and compellingly poses the question: Who really gets to inscribe history?
