Art, Identity, and Antisemitism: A Conversation with Zoe Buckman and Zibby Owens
Moderated by Mindy Solomon

Join us for an insightful and heartfelt discussion featuring artist and advocate Zoe Buckman and author Zibby Owens, whose newly released book On Being Jewish Now offers a poignant collection of essays about the modern Jewish experience, especially in the wake of the tragic events of October 7th, 2023. The book brings together contributions from various writers and advocates, each delving into the complexities of Jewish identity in today’s world.

During this conversation, Zibby and Zoe will discuss the rise of antisemitism within the arts and creative communities, sharing personal reflections on the challenges these spaces are facing. Moderated by Mindy Solomon, this event offers a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of art, identity, and activism during a time of rising societal division.

We invite you to engage in this vital conversation about how the arts can respond to increasing hate and the important role creative communities can play in fostering inclusivity and solidarity.
