Early Childhood Academy Program

At our early childhood academy, we cherish every child’s unique journey and potential. We embrace the Creative Curriculum, a research-backed, holistic approach to early education. Through play and meaningful projects, it nurtures development in all areas: social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language. This approach supports individualized learning, sparks curiosity, and cultivates confidence and critical thinking, enhancing children’s readiness for school and beyond.

At our early childhood academy, we believe every child is a unique learner who deserves a holistic and child-centered education. That’s why we combine empowering kids as active learners through play, while encouraging hands-on learning, fostering self-reliance and critical thinking. Our experienced educators seamlessly integrate these methodologies to cultivate a nurturing environment where every child can flourish and grow.

The JCC Association Sheva framework is aimed at elevating early childhood education in Jewish Community Centers. It identifies Seven Core Elements as the underpinning of quality education, each having its own set of best practices and principles:

  • Children as Constructivist Learners: Kids learn by exploring and experiencing the world.
  • Early Childhood Directors as Visionaries: Our leaders inspire and guide educational excellence.
  • Early Childhood Educators as Professionals: Our teachers are skilled professionals dedicated to your child’s development.
  • Families as Engaged Partners: We value family input and involvement in our community.
  • Environments as Inspiration for Inquiry: Our spaces are designed to spark curiosity and encourage exploration.
  • Discover CATCH as Sh’mirat HaGuf: Promoting a balanced lifestyle through physical activity and healthy choices.
  • Israel as the Story of the Jewish People: We foster a meaningful connection to Israel as part of our Jewish identity.

Each of these core elements provides a comprehensive approach to early childhood education, blending best practices in the educational field with Jewish values and traditions.
