Competitive Swimming with Swim Gym at the MBJCC
Swim Gym at the MBJCC has developed an exclusive competitive swim team program designed to improve advanced stroke techniques, turns, and dives for young competitive swimmers. The Swim Team helps swimmers refine their performance through focused training in all four competitive strokes — freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. The program is open to swimmers ages 7–11 and is offered in two groups: Pre Team and Young Team, both practicing Monday through Thursday. Practices are held at our Kotzen Aquatics Center, and the team participates in swim meets throughout the season. This is the natural next step for swimmers completing Swim Gym Level 10 (Pre-Team) who are ready for competitive racing.
