JCC Maccabi Games FAQs
The JCC Maccabi Games are one of the largest Jewish youth sporting events in the world, held annually each summer. Thousands of Jewish teens from across North America and beyond compete in a wide range of sports and cultural events, celebrating Jewish identity through athletic competition.
Participants must meet age eligibility requirements set by the JCC Association each year — generally, athletes must be between 13 and 17 years old during the Games dates. Please contact Stacey Hatch at gro.ccjbm@yecats to confirm current eligibility requirements for your teen.
Sports and events vary slightly by year, but typically include basketball, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, baseball, flag football, golf, table tennis, dance, and the Star Reporter journalism program. See the full list of 2025 events in the program details section above — confirm with our delegation head for the current year’s offerings.
